Clear aligners are one of the most popular orthodontic treatments available today due to their discreet nature.
At Dental Beauty, we use these virtually invisible systems to gently move your teeth into the desired position using a series of clear aligners. These aligners are removable and so discreet most people won’t even notice you are wearing them.

STEP 1
Initial Consultation
At the initial consultation you will meet with our dentist to assess your suitability for clear aligner treatment and answer any questions you may have. We will take impressions and photographs of your teeth to establish whether the treatment is right for you.
STEP 3
Aligners are Created
Once you are happy with your treatment plan, a series of custom aligners will be made, these are personalised to your teeth. Each aligner is slightly different, moving your teeth gradually in the desired position. You will wear your aligners all the time apart from eating and cleaning.
STEP 2
Treatment Plan
Once you are onboard, your dentist will take you through the detailed treatment plan. Using an ClinCheck® treatment software, we will be able to produce a 3d simulation of the teeth straightening results before your treatment has even begun.
STEP 4
Follow Up
We will see you every 4-6 weeks in the practice to monitor the movement of your teeth until they have reached the desired position. On average this 6-12 months. After treatment, you will get a retainer to keep teeth in the correct position.

How do clear aligners work?
Your dentist will take an impression of your teeth from which a series of custom-made aligners are produced. The aligners are made from a clear, strong plastic which sit around your teeth gently moving their position. Every two weeks the aligners are replaced by the next in the sequence until eventually your teeth are in the desired position.
Can you see the aligners?
The aligners are made from a clear plastic and some people may not even notice you are wearing them. Our patients prefer these to traditional orthodontics as it means no metal train tracks.
How long do I need to wear the aligners for?
The aligners can be easily removed for brushing your teeth, eating and even special occasions meaning they fit in with your lifestyle, however, frequently not wearing the aligners can slow down the teeth straightening progress so we advise you have them in as much as possible.
How long does it take?
Treatment time depends on the complexity of the treatment but teeth straightening with clear aligners can take as little as 4 months. The average treatment time is between 6-12 months.
How much does it cost?
The price of treatment depends of the complexity of the case and your dentist will discuss this with your after consultation.
